Fantastic Dive Holiday in Sharm El Sheikh

Dear Alun, Moyra and team,
We got back safely and arrived home early last Friday morning and have spent the week coming back down to earth with a bump after our fantastic holiday. We had a wonderful time and you all made the experience all the more enjoyable. Our experience with Elite exceeded all expectations and when we’re out in Sharm El Sheikh again you’ll be our first call (pub quizzes included!) Thank you for all your help, both before we arrived, and during our stay.

Hope all went well at the Dive Show, and hope to see you all again.

Safe Diving In Sharm El Sheikh

Hi Alun and Moyra.
The dust has settled, the weather is crap and its back to work, and diving in Sharm El Sheikh is now just a memory. But wow, what a memory. I would, on behalf of us all, like to sincerely thank you for the week that we had with you. It was fantastic. We said it on the day, and I feel I must repeat myself, your attention to detail, very good organisation, very good guides, particular thanks to Alin the Count, and Shaban, and most importantly your personability, made the time an absolute joy. We will have absolutely no hesitation in coming back to yourselves in the future, sooner the better. I will see you in Birmingham in October, until then, look after yourselves, and safe diving.

Disabled Diver Praises Elite Diving in Sharm El Sheikh Red Sea

Throughout the whole experience, from the initial contact enquiring about a diving package to the time actually spent with the Elite team, they were totally professional but always warm, friendly and welcoming (the Welsh hospitality shining through).

My wife and I dived with Alin (The Count) and Alun (Mr Alun) for a week and both of them new exactly how to treat me and my disability, which has left me paralysed from the waist down and so a wheelchair user. All my “needs” were catered for in a kind and considerate manner both in and out of the water, without me being made to feel that I was “different”.

Unfortunately this can’t be said for the other dive operators I have dived with before who seem to over compensate for the fact I’m disabled which just highlights the fact that I’m in a wheelchair (as if that doesn’t attract enough attention already!). As for the diving being the Red Sea, it was brilliant. We visited different sites every day (without repeating a site over the time we stayed) and they always managed to persuade the captain to go to the quiet moorings which meant we didn’t become part of the diver soup which tends to be the case around the more popular sites at Sharm.

My wife and I both had a brilliant time diving with Elite and would recommend them to anyone considering diving in Sharm El Sheikh, whether learning to dive or a seasoned diver, able bodied or disabled.

We're back now, boo hoo! Just wanted to thank you both for such a warm and friendly welcome. We couldnt have been more pleased with our first dive trip abroad and were very impressed with the professional care we received.
Needless to say we will be coming back diving in Sharm El Sheikh and the Red Sea soon!
Spoke to Paloma yesterday, raving about where we'd been and what we saw and what fun it would be if we could get our next trips to coincide! thats a long shot though!!
Finally, we'd just like to also thank Francesca, especially for being so great! Also Alin for being so laid back and cool, and Emma and all the boys who were so helpfull.
Whaaaaah, ha ha, just cant wait to come back!!!!

Hope you both well. Belated Happy New Year to everyone!!!
After being in the Red Sea, it's taking some getting used to being back in this terrible British weather, its freezing!!
Just wanted to say that we both really enjoyed the diving yet again & a big thank you to Alin (AKA The Count) the brilliant dive guide, Martin so pleased because his air consumption has improved and did a 62 min dive!

We've been telling everyone about diving the thistlegorm on Christmas eve, what a fantastic way to spend Christmas.

Also thanks for your help with our baggage problem!! It's now in the hands of Thomsons complaints department with all the receipts. Anyway hoping to be back in Sharm El Sheikh possibly May time to do rescue diver course, so will keep in touch.

We are already weighing up the finances and timescales for returning next year, I have put my vote in for your dive centre as it was a wonderful experience that really made me wonder why we didn't dive before!
We will be hopefully starting the E-Learning in the spring 2010 and be returning end of next year, well thats the plan anyway!

Both myself & Paul had a safe journey home, landed in Bristol, with the weather being 4 degrees, brrrrrrr.

Just wanted to thank you for arranging all of our fantastic diving whilst in Sharm, the whole team are brilliant. A special thanks to Alin for finding all the nudibranches on 33 of our dives & getting us through our deep diving course (even though the Napoleon Wrasse got in the way) & Steve & Alun for the other dives which were also amazing. Diving in Sharm El Sheikh

We Can’t thank you enough.
You and your team certainly gave us back our confidence and love for diving.After our previous trip where we had some bad experience with the cavalier gun hoe attitude not of one dive guide but it seamed the style of all the dive guides. Their hart didn’t seem to be in their job. They were just there to pick up a pay check. If two of your divers Simon and Sarah hadn’t recommended you’re company I think we may have given up diving. They really put you up on a pedestal but I can now see why.
I like to be adventurous but your guys gave us thrills and exhilarating diving but in such a controlled and pre-planned manner. Which ever guide we had they all had the same high standard of safety and professionalism but with different personalities of course.

Thank the Count for his eagle eyes. He showed us things we’ve never seen before. How he spots the little things form so far away beats me. Steve was ever so patient and I learnt so much from him when he taught a digital photography course on the boat. I’d done one before so I was just listening in as his course was far more in depth and informative than the one I did. As for Mr. Alun, his dive briefings are the most entertaining and informative I’ve ever heard. Even the boat crew was much better than we’ve experienced previously. Ali the captain on Delphinus had the best English I’ve ever heard for an Egyptian and his crew was so helpful and polite.

You certainly pick your staff well. We are already planning when we can come back and dive with you.
I can’t thank you and your team enough for what you all did for us. I wish we could be as happy in our work as your staff. I envy you all so much.

Just wanted to say thanks again for a fantastic time diving with you in Sharm El Sheikh. Both Maggie and I thought all the dives were great and I thought that the trip to The Thistlegorm was outstanding!

I’m looking forward to getting my poster of the wreck sent to me for Xmas, thanks for helping with that as I couldn’t bring it back with me when I left.

A very good diving holiday in Sharm EL Sheikh

Hiya,

Thanks to you, Moyra, Alin, Steve, Alex and crew for helping make our diving hol last week a very good one.

It's blowing a hooley here and we'd really rather be bobbing about looking at pretty fishes or relaxing on the boat. Attached are some pics taken during the trip. Not sure if they are good enough for the competition, but I thought I'd have a go.

Following advice from Alin and Steve, some of them are actually in colour! (The joys of digitial underwater photography, eh?). I've not cheated by including the great shots that Alin took - you'll find those with quite a few others under my name on Facebook.

Great PADI Open Water Course

Many thanks indeed for arranging the PADI Open Water diving courses for Andy, Kate and Sophie Moir in Sharm El Sheikh.

They had an amazing time and we are planning to return next October - Leicester half term, which starts on the 15th!!

We have been to Stoney Cove - interesting as there are divers every where.

Kate has joined the Loughborough club and been diving in a pool for the last two weeks - Andy is jealous as he can't make the Wed pm regularly.

We went to Newcastle last week and they had a great diving shop where we bought fins and masks. Sophie is moving to Cheltenham on Monday and is making enquiries about what is available in her area.

They have caught the bug - thanks to your great training programme.

Thanks for looking after Laura while diving in Sharm El Sheikh with you. She really enjoyed it, and has gained much confidence in her diving. Despite how it may have seemed I really enjoyed myself too, although I still have a fear of deep water, I did snorkel once! How could you not enjoy being on a boat on the Red Sea - heaven!!! Hope business continues to grow - we certainly will be recommending you to anyone coming the Sharm.

Sharm Diving Gets Better

Hi Moyra & Alun,

Angela & my self would like to thank you both for our recent dive trip. Having dived with you on many occasions in Sharm the diving gets better.

It was great to see Hammerheads on my hundredth Red sea dive and to dive familiar sites slightly differently from the norm made all the difference.

Jackfish alley was particularly awesome on one dive as we saw so many different species in one dive. It was the highlight of the trip. There are not many places were you see Turtle, White and black reef sharks, Eagle rays, huge Barracuda, Morays and schools of jacks and trevally all on one dive.

I would also like to thank the dive guides who were great fun and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Finally a special thank you to Alin (AKA the count) the best guide I have dived with in Sharm. Look forward to seeing you all later in the year thanks

I am so pleased that my father came across your website while surfing the net for suitable diving center for myself while diving in Sharm EL Sheikh.
Thanks for a great weeks diving and also for making me feel like one of the family. It was also nice to meet your son H and wife Asia while they were with you on holidays. He’s so lucky having parents with their own dive school in Sharm!!
Nest time, I won’t Stay all they way out in Nabq but thanks for coming to pick me up everyday. You surely deliver what you say on your website. “NOTHING'S TOO MUCH TROUBLE” and you certainly deliver the personal touch.

Quality Diving in Sharm El Sheikh

Dear Alun,
I have to say a big thank you for the diving experience with Elite diving.

I visit Sharm often twice a year and have always stayed loyal to same dive operators.

On the last trip I was given the opportunity to Dive with Elite for the first time by Laura who used to work for you.

As a PADI instructor I am acutely aware of the safety aspects of Diving, but have to say diving with you guys was a whole new experience. Doing new and different, but under expert and experienced guides. It was an absolute pleasure to experience new aspects that the Red Sea has to offer and in some cases push new boundaries in terms of different, more challenging and more exciting sites. The chance to see Hammerheads at close quarters and dive different sites was a wonderful experience.

I will have no difficulty in recommending Elite Divers to my otherwise bored dive colleagues, as the chance to see Sharm from a different and better angle. Personal thanks to you, who came across as knowledgeable, expert and professional, yet still maintaining a passion for the sport we all enjoy.

Well done to Elite Diving. Definitely see you soon.
