The Red Sea...

SPECIAL EXCURSIONS & OPTIONAL EXTRA DIVING

Third Dive.

Some days you may feel two dives is just not enough when you discover how much there is to see while diving the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea.

Night Dive.

See the transformation of life from day to night and see how the nocturnal creatures come to life at night.

Dunraven trip (Wreck and Reef).

This is British merchant steam ship that was built in Newcastle in 1873. It hit the reef off Sha’ab Mahmud and sunk on 22nd of April 1876 at a depth ranging from 15 to 29 meters. As it sank further away than most regular dives, it does not get dived as much and there is a splendid, beautiful coral garden on the outer slope of the reef where the wreck lies.

Dahab Day Trip.

Dahab is a sleepy Bedouin fishing village that lies 100 km North of Sharm El Sheikh on the shore in the Gulf of Aquba at the north east of the Red Sea where it has some famous shore dives such as The Canyon, Blue Hole and El Bells.

We leave for Dahab by bus in the morning around 7.00 a.m. Our first dive will be around 9.00a.m. The second dive will commence approximately 11.45 a.m.
We then take lunch and have around a four hour surface interval before heading back to Sharm El Sheikh.

* A special disclaimer will need to be signed by all divers as the trip takes us over a mountain pass in excess of 300 meters, hence the four hour interval before returning.

Fast Boat Trips

S.S. Thistlegorm trip (World War 11 Wreck)

This has to be among the greatest wreck dives in the world

S.S. Thistlegorm was a British merchant ship on secondment during world war two and was sunk by the Luftwaffe near Sha’ab Ali in the North Western area of The Red Sea in The Gulf of Suez.

It’s cargo of guns, Bedford trucks, BSA motor bikes, aeroplane wings, steam engine and tenders and so much more is still there to be seen

One of the complaints in the past of this trip was it as so far away you had to get up at 4.00 a.m. to make the long journey. Or live on a boat for a week to get out to it.

Now we use a fast ex safari boat working on daily trips, that only takes
approximately two hours so we leave harbour at 7.00 am and get you back at the normal time. A far more civilised trip when you’re on your holiday.

Abu Nuhas

The day consists of a trip on the same fleet as the Thistlegorm shuttle. We speed off up into the Gulf of Suez to where lies a cluster of wrecks.

Normally you can only reach this area by liveaboard but with the fast boats working on daily trips we leave the marina at approx 6.30am, this area is accessible to us, depending on demand.

We'll have time to dive two of the wrecks before heading back to Sharm to arrive there around 5.00 pm. Wrecks in Abu Nuhas include, Ghiannis D, Carnatic, Marcus, Kimon M.

Elite Exclusive, Liverboards and Elite Bookings

There are many different requests for liveaboard to dive the Red Sea, from individuals and couples wanting to dive, to groups or clubs wanting a private charter and exclusive use of the boat.

We have many safari boats at our disposal from the top class luxurious Tiger Lily and Snapdragon, that can cruise further South to the more basic of safari boats on the northern wrecks and reefs Itinerary.

Please contact us by e-mail admin@elite-diving.org with your requirements and to obtain a quote that we know you'll be very happy with.
