Kormoran wreck diving in Sharm El Sheikh

The word around is that a salvage company has bought the wrecks in the Red Sea and has cut up and removed the Kormoran.
After seeing a barge mored up over the Kormoran over last winter I was plesently suprised when I recently visited the Kormoran to see what condition it was in.
The bow section has been cut into smaller sections ready for removal but it apears that nothing has been removed as yet.
Wreck Diving is not abundant close to Sharm El Sheikh but this gives an added bonus when diving the amazing north lagoona reef.

Spotted snappers around the Kormoran adding spectacular colour.

Coral growth is abundant on the wreck as seen in this picture of the winding gear.
